Nowadays, every publisher is eager to secure a license from Marvel or DC to develop a comic book-based game, as these titles tend to be commercially successful. Let’s explore the superhero games slated for release in the near future.
Batman | Arkham Shadow

Batman | Arkham Shadow, a VR title created by Camouflaj (known for Iron Man VR), is designed for the Meta Quest 3. The game’s narrative unfolds two years subsequent to Batman | Arkham Origins, with Batman facing off against the Pied Piper as the primary antagonist. It is slated for release in fall 2024.
Marvel 1943 | Rise of Hydra

Marvel 1943 | Rise of Hydra is a video game featuring Captain America and Black Panther set during World War II. It is being developed by Skydance New Media, a studio founded by Amy Hennig. The game made its debut at the D23 Expo in 2022.
