Cooperative games are an excellent means to evaluate friendships and assess collaborative skills. They encourage teamwork towards a shared objective, rather than competition among players.
A broad spectrum of genres provides this opportunity to unite, ranging from shooters and real-time strategy games to puzzles. Our collection features over 50 of the most acclaimed games that support cooperative play.
Baldur’s Gate 3
Without a doubt, Baldur’s Gate 3 is the finest traditional RPG ever, drawing an immense following to what was once a niche genre. It boasts a non-linear storyline, extensive variability, brilliant humor, engaging characters, and a superb turn-based combat system that presents players with a puzzle offering countless solutions at every turn. The game is so rich in content that it remains captivating even on subsequent playthroughs, despite the initial run taking an impressive 100 hours. Moreover, the chance to experience this adventure with up to three friends is truly invaluable.
Helldivers 2
If you’ve been longing to play a top-tier, costly game inspired by Paul Verhoeven’s cult classic “Starship Troopers,” then Helldivers 2 might capture your interest. While this shooter isn’t a direct adaptation of the ’90s action film, it bears a striking resemblance. Echoing the iconic film, you’ll battle hordes of colossal insects intent on conquering planets surrounding a future Earth, now dubbed Super-Earth. Additionally, you’ll encounter hostile robots that evoke memories of both The Terminator and Star Wars. In teams of four, players undertake perilous missions to destroy enemy lairs and gather crucial data across various planets. A critical aspect of gameplay is avoiding friendly fire, which is permanently enabled, making it a unique challenge not to inadvertently eliminate your teammates.
LEGO Fortnite
The concept of a comprehensive survival game set in the LEGO universe has been long anticipated, and it finally materialized at the end of 2023. This free-to-play game is now a segment of Fortnite, yet it stands apart from the battle royale genre. Similar to games like Minecraft, players engage in resource gathering, hunting, cooking, and building. They can construct a range of edifices, from modest shacks to grand medieval castles, and even create operational vehicles. In essence, it’s a dream come true for LEGO enthusiasts.
Remnant 2
A game often referred to as “Dark Souls with guns,” the sequel addresses many of the original’s flaws, elevating it significantly in nearly every aspect. Renowned for its well-executed procedural generation, it ensures unique experiences by altering terrain and enemy placements with each playthrough. Players are tasked with clearing various locations and vanquishing formidable bosses, utilizing both melee weapons and firearms. While Remnant 2 may not be flawless, it remains a captivating game that promises to entertain you and your friends.
Lethal Company
In this space horror game created by a solo developer, a team from Halden Electronics ventures into abandoned space factories. Your objective is to collect valuable scrap and return it to your spaceship while avoiding traps and evading monsters. Coordinated action is crucial, as you have only three game days to complete the mission. Failure to meet the quota results in the entire team being dismissed and jettisoned into space.
The Outlast Trials
The Outlast series has consistently occupied a prominent place among interactive horror games. In a new twist, Red Barrels studio has ventured into cooperative gameplay. Players are plunged into the midst of terrifying human experiments. Working as a team of four, they must tackle various challenges while evading ferocious foes. Yet, the co-op mode somewhat lessens the terror | what fear does snow instill, what concern does heat provoke, what dread does a hidden jump scare cause when I am accompanied by friends? It’s likely that laughter will outweigh fear when playing with companions.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder
The latest addition to the Super Mario Bros. 2D series was released in 2023 for the Nintendo Switch. This vibrant and dynamic platformer offers players unique game mechanics that evolve with each level, providing continuous surprises right up to the end. Its special appeal lies in the ability to share the adventure with up to three additional players, making it a family-friendly experience. The game’s difficulty level is manageable, allowing even less experienced gamers to enjoy the platformer. If you’re a fan of the previous installments of the franchise or games like Rayman Legends, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is definitely worth your attention.
Trine 5 | A Clockwork Conspiracy
The fifth installment in the platformer puzzle series showcases the developers’ unending creativity. A wizard, a knight, and a thief unite once more, this time to halt an army of mechanical robots. The creators have crafted vibrant locations, intricate puzzles, and three distinct characters, each with their own abilities. The high variability in puzzle solutions makes Trine 5 an engaging experience, even on multiple playthroughs.
The Lord of the Rings | Return to Moria
“Return to Moria” is a cooperative survival game set in the Lord of the Rings universe featuring procedurally generated worlds. Players take on the role of dwarves venturing into the mines of Moria, inhabited by orcs following Sauron’s demise. The gameplay mechanics are typical of the genre, involving resource gathering, tool crafting, and food procurement. While not highly acclaimed by critics, the game has been well-received by fans, who appreciate the chance to immerse themselves once again in the beloved Middle-earth setting.
Brothers A Tale of Two Sons Remake
The Hazelight studio, renowned for its cooperative hits A Way Out and It Takes Two, has remade its first game. This game narrates the perilous journey of two brothers on a quest to secure a remedy for their ailing father. Originally designed for solo play, where one could control both protagonists simultaneously, the remake introduces a comprehensive co-op mode for shared screen play. Even with a modest budget, A Tale of Two Sons is rightfully considered one of the most significant games of the previous decade.
Diablo 3 | Reaper of Souls
Over the years, Diablo 3 has only introduced one downloadable class | the Necromancer
The role-playing game Diablo 3 enables players to form squads of up to four members. When embarking on joint ventures, the likelihood of obtaining rare items, like legendary swords, for defeating enemies increases. Moreover, each hero class possesses unique passive skills that benefit the entire squad. On the PC version of Diablo 3, players must connect with followers online, whereas console versions allow for shared-screen gameplay. It’s essential to have several gamepads on hand for the best experience.
Borderlands | The Handsome Collection
The first Borderlands wasn’t included in the compilation, but you can buy it for pennies today
The Borderlands series shooters are frequently dubbed “Diablo in first-person.” They are ideal for players who enjoy farming for loot. In these games, you may find yourself sifting through thousands of containers to find the perfect weapon. The Handsome Collection is the best entry point into Borderlands, offering the second game with all its DLCs and Borderlands | The Pre-Sequel. While PC offers online co-op only, console players can enjoy up to four-player local co-op, similar to Diablo 3, on the same television.
Dark Souls
Co-op is a big reason why many fans of the series love Dark Souls more than the new Sekiro
The notorious difficulty of Dark Souls games often means spending hours attempting to conquer a challenging boss. However, these battles can be made easier by summoning phantoms, who are other players, for assistance. Dark Souls offers the option to play alongside not just strangers but also friends; you simply need to place your summoning sign on the ground. Be aware, though, that certain conditions may lead you to cross paths with players who favor PvP encounters.
Dead by Daylight
In DbD, there are licensed hitmen from the movies “Halloween”, “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”
Dead by Daylight stands out as one of the most unique games in this collection. It’s a cooperative horror game that draws inspiration from 80s slasher films. Four players assume the roles of survivors, tasked with escaping from the fifth player who plays the killer. To emerge victorious, the survivor team must repair generators scattered across the map, open the gates, and exit the level. While Dead by Daylight can be intensely terrifying, it is more frequently an immensely enjoyable experience, particularly when played with friends rather than strangers.
Left 4 Dead 2
All of the missions from the first game were later added to the sequel
The first two installments of Left 4 Dead stand out as some of the most acclaimed cooperative shooters ever. Agile zombies challenge a team of four, equipped with limited ammunition and medical supplies. The intensity never falters, demanding seamless teamwork as the cornerstone of survival and mission success. Notably, the game remains engaging through multiple playthroughs, thanks to an ever-changing array of scenarios for the players.
World War Z
There’s no Brad Pitt, but there are thousands of aggressive zombies and grenade launchers scattered everywhere to keep you entertained
World War Z serves as an excellent contemporary counterpart to Left 4 Dead. It’s a cooperative shooter set during a zombie apocalypse, yet it operates on a grander scale | players face the daunting task of annihilating thousands of infected that swarm their defenses in relentless waves. Such spectacle is unparalleled in other games; even the zombie masses in Dead Rising pale in comparison. Moreover, World War Z offers distinctive levels that leave a lasting impression | throughout the cooperative campaign, players will traverse iconic cities such as New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, and Tokyo.
Portal 2
In co-op, players get the role of cute robots
Portal 2 is widely acclaimed for its single-player campaign, but its co-op mode is equally enjoyable and typically requires less time. If you need to coordinate with a partner and prefer not to use the built-in voice chat, there are several handy strategies. For instance, players can use a visible timer for both parties to facilitate synchronized actions.
Warhammer | Vermintide 2
In 2021, a major add-on was released for Vermintide 2
Vermintide has emerged as the most successful adaptation of Left 4 Dead. This game takes the core concept of its inspiration and seamlessly integrates it into the Warhammer fantasy realm. Instead of zombies, players face Skaven ratmen, and they wield swords, axes, and crossbows rather than machine guns and shotguns. Released in 2018, Vermintide 2 expands on the original’s ideas and introduces significant enhancements. It offers a variety of classes with distinct abilities and skills, incorporates additional weapon types, introduces new adversaries like the infamous Chaos warriors, and smartly revises the random loot system, making Vermintide 2 engaging for years to come. Most notably, Vermintide 2 maintains its challenging nature | only tightly-knit teams that coordinate their actions can conquer missions on difficulties above medium.
Sid Meier’s Civilization 6
For those who are nostalgic for the 90s, Civilization 6 added a “hotsite” feature to take turns playing on the same PC
Like its predecessors, Civilization VI features cooperative gameplay. A typical online session may last dozens of hours, but the emotional rewards justify the time invested. Multiplayer gameplay enhances your strategic skills, teaching you how to win friends and influence people through diplomatic negotiations, alliance formations, declarations of war, and crucial economic treaties.
Destiny 2
Destiny 2 has finally arrived on Steam and is now a free-to-play game
The Destiny series bears resemblance to Borderlands, as both are cooperative first-person shooters with a focus on looting enemies for impressive gear. Yet, when it comes to the quality of action and gameplay development, Destiny stands out. This is hardly surprising given that it was created by the developers of the iconic Halo series, which revolutionized console shooting games.
Total War | Three Kingdoms
Three Kingdoms is the best Total War if you’re interested in co-op
In the cooperative campaign of Three Kingdoms, players select their factions and battle against the AI or each other to dominate Ancient China. Unlike earlier titles in the series, where you had to choose at the start if players would be adversaries or allies—a decision that was irreversible—Three Kingdoms introduces more dynamic human diplomacy. Players begin in a neutral state and decide during gameplay whether to become enemies or allies, with the latter option allowing for betrayal at any point. This element adds a layer of unpredictability and thrill to the gaming experience.
Don’t Starve Together
Thanks to Don’t Starve Together, you can now test your friendship in extreme conditions without leaving your home
Don’t Starve is a survival game that requires players to continually search for food, especially in multiplayer where food scarcity is a significant challenge. To avoid starvation and conflict over scarce resources, teamwork is essential | players must hunt, farm, and construct traps collaboratively. Survival in the unforgiving world of Don’t Starve depends on players’ ability to cooperate and support one another.
Overcooked 2
Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen Is Not As Stressful A Place For A Chef As The Overcooked 2 Kitchen
Overcooked 2 ramps up the excitement and chaos when friends come over. Players take on the roles of chefs who need to prepare as many dishes as they can in limited time. Success requires dividing tasks | one might cook pasta, another wash dishes, while a third chops vegetables. With each level, the complexity of the dishes and cooking conditions increases. Consequently, Overcooked 2 is a whirlwind of activity | chefs dash between counters, stoves catch fire, pots overflow with boiling water, all aboard a raft drifting down a river.
Divinity | Original Sin 2
Larian Studio will also add a co-op mode to the future Baldur’ s Gate 3
Divinity | Original Sin 2 is a great old-school RPG with an exciting storyline, numerous quests, and interesting tactical combat. You can complete it not only alone, but also online with friends (up to 4 people in a party). In co-op mode, each player gains control of one or two characters. The help of your teammates will not be superfluous, especially during difficult battles.
Gears of War 4
Gears of War 4 co-op can be played together between PC and Xbox One console owners
The story campaign of Gears of War 4 can be enjoyed cooperatively with a friend, either split-screen or online. The series has been renowned for its co-op play since the first installment, and Gears of War continues to uphold this tradition. With stunning graphics, intense action, and dramatic cinematic sequences, the fourth installment ensures several evenings of captivating entertainment.
Payday 2
The best way to feel like a thug and not go to jail for it
Payday 2 is an ideal cooperative game for those seeking thrills. Players assume the roles of bank robbers, planning their heists in advance. Yet, in Payday 2, even the most meticulous plans can go awry at any moment (and they usually do), necessitating a swift escape from the police.
Cuphead
Don’t let the cartoon graphics fool you | Cuphead is a challenge for the bravest
Cuphead stands out as one of the most challenging co-op platformers of our era, pushing players to their limits much like Chip & Dale once did. The game’s formidable difficulty, paired with its distinctive visual flair, is part of its charm | the greater the challenge, the sweeter the victory when you prevail.
Monster Hunter | World
A lot of high-quality and at the same time free DLC has been released for the game
The Monster Hunter series has long enjoyed popularity in Asia. In the West, it remained a niche favorite until the release of Monster Hunter | World. Like its predecessors, the core gameplay involves teaming up to hunt massive, fantastical monsters. However, World is more accessible to newcomers than earlier titles. Success in the game hinges on various factors | the character’s build, the players’ persistence, their reflexes, and their ability to work as a team. While it may not be the ideal game for relaxation, Monster Hunter | World is an excellent pick for those seeking a challenging adventure.
Killing Floor 2
If you need to turn off your brain and rest, you should install Killing Floor 2
Killing Floor 2 is anything but dull. It’s an action-packed FPS where players slice through monsters with swords and blast them with massive cannons, all set to a hard rock soundtrack. As the difficulty ramps up, the game presents a formidable challenge. Survival hinges on mastering the tactics for combating each type of monster.
A Way Out
The commercial success of the game suggests that we will see more projects like this in the coming years
A Way Out is a cinematic, story-driven action game created for two players. Participants assume the roles of prisoners who must work together to break out of prison and avoid recapture. The game’s many scenes rely heavily on character interaction. For instance, in one episode, they must navigate a boat through turbulent waters; to avoid capsizing in the rapids, players must coordinate their rowing efforts. For those seeking a unique cooperative gaming experience, A Way Out is an excellent choice.
Wolfenstein | Youngblood
Feminism, Nazism, and the Alternative 1980s
Youngblood marks the series’ first cooperative game. The story unfolds 20 years after The New Colossus, with America freed from Nazi control, yet Europe remains under occupation. The renowned protagonist, William Blaskowicz, has vanished. In response, his daughters embark on a journey to Paris in search of their father and to assist the French resistance in expelling the occupiers. Youngblood offers engaging entertainment for pairs, featuring vivid gunfights and a distinctive backdrop, ensuring a far from dull experience.
Rayman Legends
Rayman Legends owners got all levels from Rayman Origins for free
Rayman Legends, developed by Michel Ancel, the creator of the original Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil, is a platform game that stands as one of Ubisoft’s most triumphant entries in the genre. It is designed to be enjoyed by both avid gamers and children alike. Up to four family members can gather around a single TV for a fun time, especially during the music levels where players are encouraged to sync their movements with the beat, jumping and striking in rhythm.
Among Us
The well-known rules of “Mafia” are diluted here with small mini-games
The year 2020 saw the meteoric rise of a game that redefined the social deduction genre, akin to Mafia. In Among Us, players are split into two factions | one aims to disrupt the space mission, while the other seeks to unmask the saboteurs bent on destroying the spacecraft. The game thrives on scenarios where players might, for instance, emerge from a ventilation shaft to stealthily dispatch an unsuspecting crewmate, sever electrical systems, and then feign innocence. Among Us is a true test of friendship, challenging even the most solid bonds.
It Takes Two
A new project of the main developer of cooperative games at the moment
The most recent offering from Hazelight and game designer Józef Fares, known for “A Way Out” and his candid opinions on the gaming industry and creativity, is making waves. Prior to the release of their cooperative platformer, Fares boldly claimed he would give $1,000 to anyone who found his new game boring, a scenario he deemed impossible. True to his word, Hazelight’s latest co-op game is a hit, introducing fresh mechanics roughly every thirty minutes. While many mechanics are used only once, they contribute to an experience that is anything but dull. Moreover, the game’s narrative is reminiscent of a heartwarming Pixar film, leaving players with fond memories.
Beyond | Two Souls
Action movie starring Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe
Many enthusiasts of David Cage’s creations, like Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit, view Beyond Two Souls as one of his weaker titles, mainly due to its lackluster plot. Nevertheless, the game gains an entertaining twist with co-op gameplay. The second player can join in using their phone to embody Aiden’s spirit, who shadows the main character, Jody. This allows them not only to protect Jody in perilous moments but also to meddle in her affairs, such as ruining a romantic date or causing chaos by starting a fire.
Child of Light
The game’s stunning soundtrack was composed by French composer Cœur de pirate
Ubisoft occasionally greenlights experimental projects, and Child of Light is one such project. This platformer incorporates role-playing elements and turn-based combat. The protagonist is Princess Aurora of Austria, living at the close of the 19th century. She falls into a deep sleep which to others appears as death, and awakens in the enchanted realm of Lemuria. To find her way back home, she must bring peace and order to Lemuria.
Aurora is joined by a firefly, controllable by a second player. During combat, the firefly can heal Aurora and delay enemies’ turns. While not an exhaustive set of features, they can provide a tactical edge if used strategically. Child of Light’s straightforward nature makes it an excellent introduction to video games for newcomers.
Sea of Thieves
A personal “Treasure Island” for you and your friends
In this pirate action game, teams of players can embark on treasure hunts, commandeer other players’ ships, or simply indulge in rum on the shore without setting sail. It’s crucial to learn the phrase “Let me go, please” in all major world languages before setting off on your voyage; it may prove useful if you’re captured by other players.
Owing to Microsoft’s exclusivity, the game is only accessible on PC and Xbox.
Unravel Two
Video games “connected” us…
The follow-up to the game featuring the knitted character Yarny appears to have been designed with a focus on cooperative play. Indeed, the platformer can be played solo, but this requires the player to alternate control between both characters to solve puzzles. Playing cooperatively is not only more convenient but also significantly more enjoyable. The game truly shines during the Time Trials, where two players must rely on each other and trust that both remember their roles.
Sackboy | A Big Adventure
One of the few reasons to buy a second DualSense
A Little Big Planet spinoff makes for an excellent family platformer. While the game is playable on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, it truly shines on the next-gen console. The innovative features of the DualSense controller allow players to feel the texture of surfaces and the tension of objects like wires resisting being pulled from the ground. It’s an essential purchase for PlayStation 5 owners.
Super Mario 3D World Bowser’s Fury
Mario will confront Bowser in a giant cat costume
Cooperative play is a common feature in the Super Mario series, and Bowser’s Fury is no exception. This platformer is included with the remastered version of Super Mario 3D World. In this adventure, Mario faces off against an enormous Bowser. The second player takes on the role of Bowser Jr., who enlists Mario’s help to subdue his father. Bowser Jr. can reveal hidden secrets and battle foes alongside Mario. This game is exclusively available on the Nintendo Switch.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
In Crash Team Racing, you can play, perhaps, as all the characters of the universe of the franchise
The remastered racing game set in the Crash Bandicoot universe once rivaled the main trilogy’s popularity on the original PlayStation. It’s an excellent alternative for those without a Nintendo Switch to enjoy Mario Kart. Thanks to its split-screen mode, up to four players can compete on the same TV, making Crash Team Racing a highlight of any house party.
Remnant | From the Ashes
The game is completed in about 50 hours
Remnant | From The Ashes is another game whose authors were haunted by the success of Dark Souls. This is a souls-like, in which the emphasis is not on swords and axes, but on firearms. The main reason to devote time to the game is co-op for three participants, which will allow a group of friends to have fun in a couple of evenings. A variety of locations do not pamper players with great attention to detail, but they change quite quickly, not having time to get bored. And a few interesting bosses are a guarantee that no one in the squad will get bored. From March to April 2021, the game was even given away for free with a PlayStation Plus subscription on PS4 and PS5.
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World | The Game
Scott Pilgrim is back
The beat’em up game based on the Scott Pilgrim comic book, which coincided with Edgar Wright’s film adaptation, was unavailable for purchase for an extended period. It was delisted from digital stores in 2014 due to licensing issues. However, Ubisoft reissued the game in January, making it available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Players can now reunite as the four-person team of Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Kim Pine, and Stephen Stills to challenge Ramona’s exes. It’s an essential experience for fans of classic games like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the Sega Mega Drive.
Ghost of Tsushima | Legends
Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru! (“You’re already dead!”)
The cooperative mode for the samurai action game proved to be so substantial that it was released just a few months following the story campaign. In this mode, a duo of players can embark on special story missions, selecting from four distinct classes for their hero | samurai, hunter, ronin, or assassin. Additionally, a four-player team can engage in “Survival” mode, battling against hordes of enemies with the primary objective of defending crucial structures from the Mongols. This update is provided at no additional cost to all owners of Ghost of Tsushima.
Haven
The lack of dashing action may disappoint Furi fans
Haven, created by the team behind the intense game Furi, ventures into a new genre. It’s an RPG centered around two lovers, Yu and Kei. Similar to Unravel Two, players have the option to control both characters independently, but the game also offers a co-op mode for a more engaging experience. In Haven, players can merge abilities during battles, which are notably less challenging than in Furi, collaborate on dialogue choices, and immerse themselves in the distinctive visual and auditory design of the game.
Never Alone
The debut (and only) project of the Upper One Games studio
We Were Here
Never Alone is a platformer featuring a girl named Nuna and her companion, a snow-white fox, who becomes the character for the second player. Each level introduces unique mechanics and challenges that require players to work together. The game draws inspiration from the culture of the Iñupiat, an indigenous people from the Far North of Alaska, echoing legends from their folklore. All in-game dialogues are voiced in the Iñupiat language, and supplementary materials provide deeper insights into the culture of this Inuit group.
The series currently includes three games, with a fourth in development.
It’s a puzzle game by Total Mayhem Games that requires two players to collaborate in order to escape a mysterious temple. Success hinges on their ability to work together to unravel the enigmas that block their way to freedom. The catch is that the players are separated and invisible to one another, with radio communication being their sole means of coordination.
We Were Here serves as the inaugural entry in the series and is available for free on Steam, acting as a prologue to the entire franchise.
Biped
10000101101001111000011001011100100
IIn Biped, players control two robots, Aku and Sayla, who collaborate to fulfill a mission on Earth. The gameplay is reminiscent of Brothers | A Tale of Two Sons, with each joystick controlling a different character, relying on physics and interaction-based mechanics. While it’s possible to manage both heroes solo, the experience is enhanced by partnering with a friend to take charge of the second robot. A key advantage of Biped is its brevity; the story campaign lasts just 2.5 hours, making it possible to complete in a single evening.
Division 2
The action of the sequel moved from New York to Washington, D.C.
Division 2 is a third-person shooter where teams of up to four explore a devastated Washington, D.C., following a deadly epidemic. It epitomizes a service game, with Ubisoft persistently developing and releasing updates to retain players even after the main story campaign concludes. Upon completion, teams can venture into the “dark zone” to seek valuable loot and evacuate. However, they must be wary, as other teams may ambush them, preferring to plunder loot from those less prepared.
Chip’n’Dale
The eight-bit version of “Chip & Dale” sounds great here
The Disney Afternoon Collection features games inspired by Disney’s popular cartoons, originally released for the NES console. The NES was renowned for its extensive catalog of cooperative games, including the beloved platformer Chip ‘n Dale, familiar to many console owners. Players assume the roles of the two chipmunks, navigating through eight diverse levels to rescue a missing kitten and thwart the villainous cat Fat Cat. A unique aspect of the game is the ability to throw boxes at both enemies and fellow players, adding a fun twist to the cooperative experience. It’s an ideal game for two players, isn’t it?
Call of Duty Black Ops 3
The train made a “BOOM” with four players on board at once
The cooperative mode in Call of Duty | Black Ops 3 is arguably what sets it apart from other entries in the series. The main story campaign, replete with elaborate set pieces and less-than-intelligent adversaries, can now be enjoyed with up to three friends. Additionally, for those seeking more than a single playthrough, a “nightmare” version of the story missions becomes available upon completion. This version features minor alterations to cutscenes and narrative, and introduces zombies in place of some of the standard enemies.
Raft
In a sandbox survival game, players start on a small raft. Initially, securing fresh water and food is crucial. As the game progresses, players can expand their raft into an immense floating fortress and venture out to explore distant islands. However, caution is advised as the most precious resources may be protected by perilous predators.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles | Shredder’s Revenge
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles | Shredder’s Revenge” is an excellent pick for those who cherish the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons of the 90s and the classic arcade games. Although the game can be completed in a few hours, it provides a nostalgic immersion into childhood. It also offers the option to play in a team of up to four people.
Grounded
The cooperative survival simulator Grounded concluded its Early Access phase on September 27, 2022. Players assume the roles of teenagers who have been shrunk to the size of insects. They must work together to survive in a backyard teeming with both the dangers and wonders of the local plant and animal life.
Tiny Tina’Wonderlands
If you enjoy the Borderlands series, consider exploring its spin-off. The game’s events take place following the conclusion of Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep DLC. Players assume the role of the Fate Maker to battle the formidable Dragon Lord. An extensive array of firearms and melee weapons is available to vanquish the forces of evil.
Warhammer 40,000 | Darktide
The creators of Vermintide 2 have released a new game set in the futuristic world of Warhammer. In terms of gameplay, it closely resembles its predecessor, yet Darktide shifts the focus significantly towards ranged combat. The shooting mechanics are exceptionally satisfying, with each weapon, from laser guns to the iconic bolter, feeling immensely powerful. Darktide further impresses with its striking visual style, lively soundtrack, and an authentically crafted Warhammer 40,000 ambiance.
Cooperative games have consistently enjoyed popularity, and there’s no indication that this trend will decline in the near future. As we embrace the new generation of gaming, a multitude of thrilling adventures await to be experienced with friends.
