Valve’s upcoming game, Deadlock, has been leaked onto torrent sites by an individual involved in the alpha testing.
The leaked build launches but is restricted to offline play. It includes a training mode and the ability to host private servers using tools like Hamachi. Interestingly, Valve has yet to make an official announcement about the game.
Deadlock is a competitive third-person shooter in a 6-on-6 format and a fantasy-steampunk setting.

Thus far, it appears this game is quite valuable and will undoubtedly attract its audience, initially drawing in Tfers and Dota players, with a predominance of the latter expected. The model quality is somewhat bothersome; however, considering this is an alpha version, there is hope for improved refinement.
Indeed, Deadlock can be likened to a pillbox armed with guns. It features lanes, creeps, and a shop. After experimenting with various characters, it seems that the map is robust and the game’s dynamics are quite intense, especially when compared to Dota. For us, Dota remains a classic.
Initially, Dedlock faced considerable skepticism due to the angry comments from various site users anticipating a new Half-Life. Their primary argument was that the game is simplistic and monotonous, being a one-button affair. We wholeheartedly disagree with this view; the game is indeed easy to learn, yet the complexity of certain characters’ skills convinces otherwise.

Overall, we enjoyed it, and are truly excited about the game’s release. We hope that Valve will not overlook the lore as they did in Dota, because the game’s design appears very intriguing so far.
