The Prometheus Cast boasts a 15.6-inch IPS touch matrix with a 1920×1080 pixel resolution. Its monitor’s backlight brightness peaks at 250 nits, enabling comfortable use even under bright lighting. The device’s thickness ranges from 4 mm to 9 mm, depending on the port locations, categorizing it as one of the slimmest in its segment.

The monitor comes with two USB Type-C connectors, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a mini-HDMI port. However, the use of the mini-HDMI port is optional because the Prometheus Cast features wireless connectivity through AirPlay, Miracast, and DLNA. This feature enables cable-free connection to video sources, offering enhanced mobility and convenience.
A dedicated button on the side of the monitor allows users to toggle between portrait and landscape screen orientations. The device includes two integrated speakers, each with a power output of 1 watt, for audio playback. An internal 3000 mAh battery provides up to three hours of use on a single charge, which may be limited for some users.
The pre-order price for the new product is set at $252, with sales commencing in September 2024. The company believes that the Prometheus Cast will appeal to a diverse audience, including business professionals, students, and travel aficionados, thanks to its functional and portable design.
