On August 22, Ubisoft announced “Heroes of Might and Magic | Olden Era,” a new turn-based strategy game set in the acclaimed Heroes of Might and Magic universe. The following day, a nine-minute gameplay video was shared by the developers.

Development is being led by Unfrozen, the studio behind the tactical RPG “Iratus | Lord of the Dead.” The project’s lead narrative designer is Alexandra “Alfina” Golubeva, known for her work on the “Pathologic. Utopia” remake.
The studio is drawing inspiration from the classic entries in the series, while also introducing new RPG elements not seen in previous installments.
The game will feature single-player, cooperative, and multiplayer modes.
A release for early access is planned for the year 2025.
