HoYoverse has announced the release date of Zenless Zone Zero on social media, confirming an April leak from the App Store. It’s a shareware gacha action game developed by miHoYo studio.
Zenless Zone Zero, announced in early 2022, is an action game set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity endures within a walled city amidst mysterious anomalies known as the “Caverns” and monsters. Players then embark on a journey to explore and colonize the sole surviving city after a major cataclysm. Alongside navigating the real world, players must delve into realms inhabited by monsters, clearing these spaces to expand the enclave of survivors.
Fortunately, the city of New Eride stood as the final sanctuary. It is in this city that a diverse group of heroes assembles, each driven by their own motives and convictions, ready to confront the challenges of the Caverns.
Concurrent with the release date announcement, the creators of Zenless Zone Zero unveiled a trailer featuring Lycaon, a playable character. Lycaon is depicted as an anthropomorphic cyborg wolf endowed with remarkable combat skills.
The action game from the creators of Genshin Impact is set for a simultaneous release on PS5, PC, iOS, and Android. The availability of an Xbox version remains uncertain.
The PC version will be accessible via the game’s client and the Epic Games Store, but not on Steam.
Right now, there are two events related to Zenless Zone Zero | the “Purchase on the Road” online event with the opportunity to receive in-game items, and the event with gifts for pre-registration.
