To celebrate the anniversary of Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios has released a new set of intriguing player statistics.

Here are the most interesting points:
- 1.9 million players turned themselves into cheese;
- More than 141 thousand players have completed the RPG in Honor mode (with stricter rules, powerful bosses and one save slot);
- 93% of players decided to create their own character;
- The most popular class was the Paladin, and the race was the elves;
- 15% of players chose to play BG3 with Dark Seduction;
- Of the original characters, Astarion was most often chosen. Gale took second place, and Shadowhart took third;
- The companions received 75 million kisses. The developers asked to slow down, otherwise their pixels will be erased;
- Shadowhart and Astarion were kissed the most, and Mintara was kissed less;
- Players had sex with Khalsin 658 thousand times. In 70% of cases, the druid was in human form, and 30%… ahem, in the bear;
- 1.8 million players decided to betray the Emperor;
- The scraper was petted 120 million times, and the bear was petted 41 million;
- Players made 141 thousand attempts to stroke His Majesty. As noted in the studio, the lesson was learned;
- 34 players, being Laezel, chose to commit suicide (in the game!) at the end of the game when Vlaakit rejected them.
Larian has halted all expansions and sequels, yet plans to launch a significant farewell expansion featuring a standard level editor this fall. Currently, another Closed Beta Test is underway.
