Capcom’s enigmatic title Pragmata has received its first potential details from the insider Dusk Golem, who regularly talks about the Resident Evil franchise. According to his insights, the game will be a sci-fi action-adventure centered on narrative.
The plot is expected to follow two robots attempting to reach Earth from the Moon after being stranded there due to a failed human colonization effort. The colony fell into disarray when rebellious robots and artificial intelligence seized control, forcing humans to abandon the lunar experiment and sever all ties with the satellite.
These autonomous robots have since evolved, becoming virtually indistinguishable from humans, and are now seeking a path to Earth.
Pragmata was last mentioned in June of the previous year during the Capcom Showcase, where a new trailer was revealed and a further delay in its release was announced, albeit without a definitive release date.
The project is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
