Sukeban Games studio has unveiled its next project, .45 Parabellum Bloodhound. According to the creators of VA-11 Hall-A, it will be a narrative cyberpunk action game.
The story will center on Rayla Mikazuchi, a once-famed mercenary battling depression. She attempts to return to her profession and confronts a mysterious, formidable adversary.
Inspired by Parasite Eve, the combat system merges real-time action with turn-based elements. Players can accumulate a gauge by maneuvering and evading attacks, which, when filled, halts time to strategize an assault.
The developers aim to complete seven chapters, with five already finished. Sukeban Games is promising atmospheric settings, compelling characters, engaging dialogues, thrilling boss battles, and numerous secrets.
.45 Parabellum Bloodhound lacks a release date to avoid unmet expectations, reminiscent of the N1RV Ann-A situation from 2018, whose release timeline remains undisclosed.
Initially, the game will be localized in English and Japanese, with more details about its development to be shared in the upcoming months. The game has been in production for roughly two years, undergoing several conceptual changes.
