The multiplayer space sandbox game Star Citizen has received its most substantial content update during its alpha testing phase, introducing living fauna on inhabited planets. Currently, two animal species have been introduced, with plans to expand this number in the future. The developers note that these animals may both hinder planetary colonization and serve as tame pets.
Additionally, new industrial sites and distribution centers have emerged within the Stanton system, established by mega-corporations seeking to recruit enterprising citizens. Players will discover fresh missions and enhanced DNA technology, enabling them to craft a distinctive avatar featuring novel faces, hairstyles, and hair colors, among other traits – the developers have promised a multitude of customization possibilities.
Star Citizen has introduced intense dogfights in its new master mode, where the battle’s intensity is tailored to the starships’ designated roles. Light fighters boast high maneuverability but deal limited damage, while heavy bombers depend on their formidable firepower and robust protection. Additionally, the Arena Commander universal module has received an update.
The Star Citizen update is already available, the full list of changes can be found on the official website.
