NEURA Robotics is in the process of developing a domestic robot designed for household chores, with NVIDIA providing assistance. A promotional video was recently released online, showcasing the capabilities of the robot under development.

In the video, he cooks food, hangs and irons clothes, and also plays with children. We are talking about the 4NE-1 model. The robot is 1.8 meters tall and weighs about 80 kg. Walking speed is up to 3 km/h. Thanks to special sensors, it can see 360 degrees.

We are excited to provide valuable support to NVIDIA’s infrastructure while benefiting from the company’s advanced technologies and platforms. As the only company in the world with cognitive robots at the moment, we are pleased to share our significant experience in the field of operation, control and simulation. By combining NERA’s innovative cognitive robotics solutions with NVIDIA’s advanced computing power and simulation platforms, we will push the boundaries of humanoid robotics even faster.

— Founder of NEURA Robotics David Reger

The manufacturer guarantees that the robot has the capability to recognize speech and learn commands. Additionally, it can transport various items weighing up to 15 kilograms.
